Review of The Fame Game- Web Series

 Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Kapoor casted "The Fame Game" is Drama series on Netflix. Superstar- Anamika's marriage life was not in shape. Drama started when she vanished from her house. And story is running in the line of that disappearance. 

Direction is as per expectation, not above average. Editing, dialogue and screen play marked as average. Acting of Madhuri Dixit sounds good even so more natural act was expected. Extra efforts on direction and screen keeps story away from the audience.

8 episodes of approx. 45 mins each makes it long. Thrill is absent. Can not judge target audience from the story. Slow story making drama more predictable. 

I am giving 7 out of 10 with Avoid category  (if you are not Madhuri Dixit's fan).

 Ekta and Shobha Kapoor directed Apharan was excellent thriller and sequel is released on voot platform. In season 2, RAW is planning to kidnapped VKS- a gangster in Serbia as an undercover operation. For that reason they took the help of Rudra as an agent. Story line is roller costar and nicely written considering no any touch with reality. Direction and set selection is not at all good even so editing part is somewhat OK. Acting is upto the mark. Some of the shots are copy paste from the old one. I am giving 7 out of 10 rating with one time watch if you already watched Apharan season 1. Note that so many bad words in the season and not at all advisable to watch with family.
